Maysville News

Sunday sure was a beautiful, almost summer, day, even though it was springtime. I'm sure ready for some warm weather.

Some of these news items were from last week.

Patti King and Petru, of Lowell, visited in the home of Jack and Sylvia Tucker and spent the night. They visited church with Sylvia and went home on Monday.

Those helping Sylvia celebrate her birthday last week were Patti King and Petru of Lowell, Rob and Debbie Sims, Carroll Tucker and Pam, Jacob and Shelly Bishop. Happy late birthday, Sylvia. Hope you have many more.

My niece, Anita Townsend, and husband, Buddy, who live between Gravette and Hiwasse, visited me last week soon after I got out of the hospital. I sure did enjoy their visit.

Clifton and Judy Tucker of Bella Vista visited me on Saturday. We went to Care and Share, then went to eat at Fire Station 29. I was too tired to go any farther so Clifton did my shopping for me. We came to the house and visited a while before they returned home. We had an enjoyable afternoon.

Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista visited me one afternoon and took me for a drive. I enjoyed getting out for awhile. We went to Noel, came back on Stateline Road to Beaty Road and back to Gravette. The drive was nice and the scenery was beautiful for this time of year. Susan brought me spaghetti for supper. It was a nice afternoon. Tracy Warren came over and visited while they were here.

Laura Kinney visited me a while Friday. They had been to the Wooden Spoon to eat and brought me some tasty pie from there, which I enjoyed.

Gwen Singleton visited me one afternoon last week, which I enjoyed very much. It's always good to have her come by.

My niece, Anita Townsend, and her three grandchildren from Bentonville visited me on Sunday afternoon. It's always good to have them come by.
