Brigance inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa

WALNUT RIDGE -- Brandon Brigance of Gentry has been inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society for religious studies and theology. Brigance was inducted into the Alpha Delta Omicron chapter of the society at Williams Baptist College during the Christian Ministries Banquet held April 5.

Students selected for membership in Theta Alpha Kappa must be of high academic standing and rank in the top 35 percent of their class. The society requires that inductees have completed 12 semester hours of upper-level religion courses, obtain a 3.5 grade point average in these courses and carry an overall grade point average of at least 3.0.

Brigance is a sophomore at Williams, majoring in Christian ministries. He is the son of Scott and Michelle Brigance of Gentry.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
