GENTRY — On Friday, April 22, the Lady Pioneer soccer team took on the Danville Little Johns at their home stadium.
Amber Ellis, a Gentry junior, kicked off the game with an early goal in the beginning of the first half. Brieann Ward, a gentry senior, quickly followed with another goal inside of the 18-yard box.
After a second goal by Ellis, Ana Linch, senior, scored the remainder of the team’s goals in the second half. The final score was 7-0, Gentry.
“It was a fun game and I was honored to get my glory goal in,” said Ward following the game.
The Lady Pioneers next game was on April 25th, in Green Forest.
