GENTRY -- Police arrested Cory Wade Duncan, 28, of Gentry, July 25, and later sought a warrant for Nyle Elizabeth Taylor, 26, of Gentry, in connection to a domestic altercation which occurred in Gentry City Park, according to police reports.

Both were charged with third-degree domestic battery, according to the report.

On July 28, police arrested Caferino A. Villalpando and Trae A. Burgess, both 19 and from Gentry, in connection to minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct. The arrests resulted from a noise complaint on Whistle Stop Lane in the early hours of the morning, according to police reports.

Police obtained a felony warrant for Joseph A. Stout, 31, of Gentry, in connection with a July 10 domestic incident in which he is alleged, according to an affidavit of probable cause, to have pulled the hair of his girlfriend, threw her to the floor, punched her in the head and threatened to kill her. When she tried to leave the residence, he allegedly grabbed her by the hair and would not let her leave.

According to the warrant, Stout is charged with domestic battery in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor; terroristic threatening in the First Degree, a Class D felony; and false imprisonment in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to the affidavit, Stout was also on parole at the time of incident for "possession with intent to deliver."

Gentry police are investigating the theft of a small flat-bed utility trailer from a car lot along Arkansas Highway 59 in Gentry. The theft allegedly occurred between July 15 and July 18. According to police reports, a lock was cut to take the trailer from the lot.
