"We understand that visiting the emergency room is a stressful time for patients who are in a medical crisis," said Dr. David Tucker, chief of staff. "Our board-certified physicians are here to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care as quickly as possible."

The OCH ER now has seven board-certified emergency medicine physicians on staff and it remains the only ER within 20 miles of Gravette.

"Our top-notch diagnostic equipment is readily available to assist each physician in diagnosing, treating and caring for every urgent medical condition that walks through the door," said Amanda Gittlein, marketing and communications manager. "These professionals work together to provide Western Benton County, Missouri and Oklahoma with the best treatment possible."

The OCH health system is a safety-net organization encompassing a hospital and 17 clinics located throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. The OCH health system serves patients in Springfield, Nixa, Carthage, Marshfield, Noel, Bolivar, Rogersville, Sparta and Mt. Vernon in Missouri, and Gravette in Arkansas.
