Truck accident closes Arkansas Highway 59 south of Gravette

— Two tractor-trailer rigs collided just south of Gravette on Arkansas Highway 59 Tuesday afternoon, causing the highway to be closed for hours while the accident was worked and a spilled load of dog food was being cleaned up.

Arkansas State Police confirmed that a trooper was working the accident but did not have any details to release yet on Tuesday afternoon.

A state trooper on the scene said the highway would likely be closed for up to six hours while the spilled load was cleaned up and the overturned trucks were removed.
