High school bowling season gets underway

GENTRY -- Bowling season got underway in Gentry at the Hillside Lanes on Nov. 29 when bowlers from Gentry High School competed with their counterparts from Siloam Springs.

Gentry's varsity boys had 1,754 total pins. Siloam Springs boys had 2,015 total pins. Gentry varsity girls had 1,615 total pins. Siloam Springs varsity girls, 1,779 total pins.

Gentry's next match was Tuesday in Rogers against Rogers/Rogers Heritage (after press time).
