GENTRY -- A few were reluctant but most were eager to hop up on Santa's lap and tell him their Christmas wishes when he made a special appearance at the Gentry Chamber of Commerce headquarters on Saturday afternoon.

Santa and two of his elves were in the Chamber office for several hours on Saturday, giving children a chance to visit with Santa and parents a photo opportunity.

In addition to the coins and treats passed out by Santa, the Chamber offered guests hot chocolate to warm them up on a chilly day.
