Lady Pioneers drop two on the road, Pioneers win one

GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers had a rough week on the road last week, losing at Elkins and West Fork.

Against the Lady Elks on Dec. 13, the Lady Pioneers came up only one point down, losing 55-54, in the game at Elkins. Chastery Fuamatu had 17 points in the game, Eden Hosteter had 11 and Haley Hays had nine.

The Pioneers, now 7-4, next play when they host Haas Hall Academy for a 3A Region 1 West outing on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
