GRAVETTE -- Rick Pollreis, CEO and president of Bank of Gravett, recently announced career advancements for four tenured employees, saying, "It's always a pleasure to see long-time employees work hard and advance in an organization. It's good for them, the bank -- and our customers! Join me in congratulating Brenda Bridge, senior vice-president; Mike Mayberry, vice-president; Jackie Lambert, assistant vice-president; and Patty Marchbanks, assistant cashier."

With 33 years of service, Brenda Bridge has served as a teller, bookkeeper, processor, financial services rep and currently manages the data center, overseeing all IT and operational functions of the bank. Northwest Arkansas has always been "home" to Brenda. She and her husband, Mark, attend Hiwasse First Baptist Church and reside in rural Gravette with their dog, Ranger, their old team roping horse, and their "step-dog," Junior, who belongs to their neighbor -- but they claim joint custody since he's there so often! When asked about her tenure with BoG, Brenda replied, "I guess I've been here so long because I find it rewarding -- customers call with a problem and I help them with a solution!" She adds, "And, my co-workers are the best!" When asked what she looks forward to most, Brenda replied, "Short term ... spring and camping. Long term ... retirement!"

Jackie Lambert began her BoG career as a teller in 1986 and has spent the last several years as teller supervisor, overseeing all teller training functions bank wide. Anyone who knows Jackie knows that her energy level is high and she's always on the move. Jackie will tell you, "I love waiting on my customers -- whether it's just cashing a check or helping find an error in their checkbook -- it just makes me feel good to know they trust me with their financial needs. Plus, I like to talk!" Jackie and her husband, Ralph, have raised two daughters in Gravette and can't imagine living anywhere else. While they love the natural scenic beauty of northwest Arkansas, they love to ride motorcycles and travel. According to Jackie, "Our current favorite adventure is touring Civil War battlefields! We love travelling and plan to do more of it someday when I retire."

Mike Mayberry did an about-face career change when he left his position as a broadcast journalist and live TV reporter and decided to pursue a career in banking. He joined Bank of Gravett in 1992 as branch manager and loan officer of the Hiwasse location before becoming full-time compliance/security officer for BoG in Gravette eight years ago. Mike's analytical nature and attention to detail are skills that make him a good fit for his current role. When he's not at the bank, he can be found hunting and fishing -- and then using his impressive culinary skills to prepare what he brought home for dinner. He and his wife, Debbie, reside in Bella Vista and enjoy time spent on their horse farm outside of Gravette.

Celebrating her 20th year with BoG, Patty Marchbanks' philosophy has always been to "do your best at whatever you do ... and have fun doing it!" Patty's kind personality and sense of humor have always endeared her to those who know her. She's served BoG customers in bookkeeping, as a teller and now assists deposit account customers as a financial service rep at the Gravette office. When asked what she enjoys in her spare time, Patty replied, "What brings me joy is my family and my grandchildren!" Patty resides on a small farm in Sulphur Springs with her husband, Allen, and daughter, Ali.

"Join us in congratulating these BoG employees as we celebrate them for their commitment to serve our customers and community," Pollreis said.
