Gravette 44, Huntsville 42

Kelton Trembley hit the go-ahead bucket with 40 seconds left as Gravette upset 4A-1 Conference co-leader Huntsville in league action Friday in Gravette.

Gravette (12-12, 6-6), which trailed 32-29 after three quarters, then had two fouls to give after Trembley hit his bucket. The Lions used both fouls and a timeout in order to force Huntsville (22-3, 10-2) into a bad shot in the closing seconds, and Jackson Soulé grabbed the rebound to preserve the win.

Chris Childress, Trembley and Kyle Fox each had 10 points for Gravette, which closed out the game with three sophomores on the floor.

Alex Pemberton had 15 points, all on 3-pointers, for Huntsville, while Ty Bohannan added 12.

Girls

The Lady Lions fell behind the Lady Eagles in the opening quarter and added just a little bit more to their deficit each quarter to fall, 54-40, to Huntsville on Friday night in the Lion field house.

Sydney Hicks and Tori Foster led Gravette with 10 points each. Amanda Pinter added another seven.
