GENTRY -- The Gentry senior high school boys' basketball team traveled to Washburn, Mo., over the break to play in the Southwest basketball tournament. Gentry finished in third place during the holiday tournament.
In game one, Gentry beat Galena in a close one, 48 to 46. Wyatt Clark had 16 points, Matt Juillerat had 11 and Cole Cripps 10.
In the second game, the Pioneers played Forsyth and lost, 66 to 46. Cole Cripps had 15 points, and Matt Juillerat had 8.
In the third game, Gentry beat Cassville, 56 to 43. CJ Taylor led the Pioneers in points with 14. Wyatt Clark had 13. Evan Folker had 11, and Matt Juillerat, 10.
