GENTRY -- Gentry came up short in games against Shiloh Christian in Springdale on Friday and against Huntsville at home on Jan. 5.
The Pioneers lost a close one to the Saints when they traveled to Shiloh Christian on Friday, 66-63. They were up, 22-14, at the end of the first quarter and, 34-20, at the half; but things came apart in the second half, with the Saints battling back to tie things up at 43 before the final quarter of play.
In a hard-fought fourth quarter, Gentry added another 20 points to the board, but Shiloh added 23 to take the victory.
Cole Cripps had 17 points in the game, and Wyatt Clark had 14.

CJ Taylor scored 16 points, Cole Cripps 12, and Matt Juillerat 10 against the visiting Eagles from Huntsville on Jan. 5, but that wasn't enough. Huntsville took home the victory, 62-55.
