GRAVETTE -- It's basketball homecoming week at Gravette High School and three Gravette seniors will be vying for the honor of being crowned queen at the colors day ceremonies on Friday night prior to the varsity basketball games in the Lion Fieldhouse.

The theme, borrowed from the Wizard of Oz, for this week's school activities is "There's NO place like HOMEcoming!"

Activities this week include the following: Tuesday -- Oz the Great and Powerful (with students urged to wear green and bling); Wednesday -- Wacky Day; Thursday -- Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! (with students urged to dress like an animal); and Friday being Colors Day, with students urged to wear Gravette's school colors.
