WESTSIDE -- Benton County Extension Homemakers closed out the year recently with an awards luncheon. Ladies who have been E.H. Club members for 50 years or more were recognized.
Three ladies from the Maysville E.H. Club were honored. Jewel Crawley of Maysville and Katherine Tucker of Gravette are both 60-year members of the club. Orpha Wardlaw of Maysville is a 50-year member. Several of the ladies honored brought in membership years from other states, but these three ladies had their entire membership in the same state and the same club.
Other 50-year members recognized were Lavon Stark of Gravette, Delores Cook and Marjorie Shafer of Bella Vista. Millie Peters of Rogers has been a member for 72 years.
Members attending the luncheon brought items for Faith in Action as a service project. Janice Kennedy, Master Gardener, gave the program on Holiday Design.
