Gentry Arrests

GENTRY -- Kristen Leann Asencio, 32, of Gentry, was cited and released in connection to misdemeanor theft of a T-shirt valued at $8 from the Dollar General Store in Gentry on May 23. Asencio is alleged to have put the T-shirt in her purse while shopping at the store and to have attempted to leave the store without paying for the item, police reports state.

Jonathan Cole, 28, of Springdale, was arrested May 23, in connection with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, driving on a suspended license and not having current vehicle registration when he allegedly made a right turn from Main Street onto Gentry Blvd. from the left lane rather than in the right-turn lane and failed to signal. Cole was also found to be wanted on a warrant related to a Highfill offense, according to police reports.

Gentry police were seeking a warrant for Brandon Lee Wofford, 28, of Gentry, in connection with a May 21 domestic battery incident in which he is alleged to have punched his wife and kicked her in the face, according to police reports.
