Meek-Wells joined in marriage

Holly Paige Wells became the bride of Brandon Thomas Meek on Saturday, May 21, at the Lodge of the Bentonville Church of Christ in Bentonville. Bob Kirkley officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Richard and Carla Wells of Gravette. The groom is the son of Mike and Betsy Meek of Bella Vista.

Dallas Steele of Joplin, Mo., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Chloee Duncan of Gentry and Ashley Steenberger of Waco, Texas. Jeremy McGarrah of Fort Smith was best man. Groomsmen were Kelton McDougal of Russellville and Brett Meek, brother of the groom, of Denver, Colo.

Isabella McKenzie, niece of the groom, of Bella Vista, was flower girl. Ushers were Scott McKenzie and William Robinson. Other members of the Wells party were Lacey Robinson and Lindsey Marrs.

Cellists Cole Leonard and Alex Davis-Pegis provided music for the traditional ceremony. A reception was held following the ceremony. Elegant decorations of lavender and cream were accented with gold. The three-tier wedding cake, by The Sweetery of Rogers, was decorated with fresh flowers. Wedding photography was by Kim Durham of KD Photography in Gravette.

Both the bride and groom are 2012 graduates of Gravette High School and both graduated in April from the University of Central Arkansas, in Conway, with bachelor's degrees in biology. The groom will begin the doctor of physical therapy program at the University of Central Arkansas in August. The bride will begin the occupational therapy assistant program at the Baptist Health College of Little Rock in August.

After a honeymoon trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple is living in Conway while they finish their schooling. Future plans are to settle in Northwest Arkansas to make their home and start their careers.
