Gentry Police Reports

GENTRY -- Police are investigating a June 18 domestic incident in which Johnathan Carr, 31, of Centerton, is alleged to have punched and bit his girlfriend, Destiney Starr Roberts, 19, of Gentry. Roberts is alleged to have then struck Carr with her vehicle on a street outside the residence, according to police reports, and Carr is alleged to have thrown a rock at the car.

Carr was arrested on June 18 and taken to the Benton County Jail. As a result of a followup investigation, additional charges, including felony battery, may be sought against Roberts, according to police.

Police cited Phillip Williams for failure to yield in connection to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Arkansas Highway 12 and WPA Road on June 17. According to police reports, Williams is alledged to have pulled out onto Highway12 from WPA Road in a 1993 Plymouth van pulling a trailer. Willlaims' van and trailer were struck by a 1995 Dodge pickup truck driven westbound on Highway 12 by Bailey Perdue of Gentry.

No serious injuries were reported in the accident.
