GENTRY -- Gentry Lions Club, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will be giving away smoke alarms at the Freedom Festival in Gentry on July 4th. Members of the Gravette and Siloam Springs Lions Clubs may also be on hand to help distribute the alarms.
Individuals or families in need of a smoke alarm for their homes or apartments are asked to visit the Lions Club booth at the Freedom Festival in Gentry's city park.
The American Red Cross is making the smoke alarms available as a part of its effort to reduce deaths caused by residential fires, one home at a time.
