Long-time EH Club members honored

WESTSIDE -- Four members of the Maysville EH Club were honored when the Benton County Extension Homemakers held their end-of-year awards luncheon. Ladies who had been Extension Club members 50 years or more were honored.

Jewel Crawley of Maysville and Katherine Tucker of Gravette were recognized for 60 years of membership. Lavon Stark of Gravette and Orpha Wardlaw of Maysville were honored as 50-year members. Some of Stark's years of membership were in Texas but Crawley, Tucker and Wardlaw have served their entire membership in the Maysville club.

Others recognized for 50 years of membership were Delores Cook and Marjorie Shafer of Bella Vista. Mille Peters of Rogers has been a member 72 years.

Members attending the luncheon brought more than 250 items for Faith in Action as a service project. Master Gardener Janice Kennedy gave the program on Holiday Design.
