Gentry Arrests

GENTRY -- Police arrested Paul Flynt, 50, of Gentry in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Gentry Dollar General Store on Feb. 21. According to police reports, Flynt is alleged to have taken a camouflaged Razorback cap, removed the tag, put it on his head and walked out of the store. Paul was cited for the misdemeanor theft and given an April 13 court date.

Police arrested Mackenley Thompson, 18, of Gentry, in connection with domestic assault on a family member, third degree, and criminal mischief, first degree. According to police reports, Thompson was arrested following a domestic disturbance at a residence near Dawn Hill East and Marion Lee Roads in Gentry. Thompson is alleged to have punched out a car window and pulled his girlfriend out of the car by her hair following an argument.

Police arrested Lisa Whitehead, 28, of Gentry, in connection with driving on a suspended driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 24. According to police reports, police observed Whitehead driving and knew she was suspended. A syringe was found in the front seat of the vehicle. Other charges, according to police reports, include failure to maintain liability insurance and failure to register her vehicle.
