Gentry girls win championship, remain undefeated in conference play

— The Lady Pioneers finished their conference season in a soccer match against visiting Prairie Grove, won their final game of the season, 7-1, and took the conference championship on Friday. The Gentry girls are undefeated in conference play, finishing with a 9-0 record.

The Lady Pioneers, in recent games, also defeated, Shiloh Christian by a score of 2 to 1; Berryville, 6-1; and Green Forest, 4-1.

Friday was also senior night for the Gentry soccer teams.

While the boys' season is over, the girls go on to play at the state level, with games beginning this weekend.
