Kristen Flesner of Gentry studies abroad

— Kristen Flesner of Gentry departed May 11 for a six-week study abroad in Florence, Rome, Vienna and London with Harding University.

As part of the curriculum, Flesner, a vocal music education major, will explore major cultural centers in Europe while learning of connections among music, art and history. Students explore the birthplace of opera, Florence, Italy, during the Maggio Musicale music festival. Trips to Pisa, Sienna and San Gimignano are also expected.

Students have a full course load available to them, taught by visiting Harding professors.
