GRAVETTE -- Scott Bolduc has been chosen as 2015-2016 Classified Employee of the Year at Gravette Public Schools. He was honored at the May meeting of the Gravette School Board by Richard Carver, director of transportation and maintenance at Gravette Schools, and presented a plaque by Jim Singleton, school board president.

Bolduc has been employed by the school district since April, 2007. He started with the school system as a bus driver and the students loved him. The following year he was hired as part-time grounds keeper and also drove a bus. In 2009 he was hired as a full-time grounds and maintenance employee.

"Scott is very dedicated to his job," Carver said, "and you could tell by his work. He was always keeping the grounds immaculate and always staying busy. He takes pride in his work and in keeping the campus beautiful. The one thing that I can always say about Scott is if he doesn't know something, he will research it and find the answer. He is always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it!"

In January, 2016, Bolduc transferred to building maintenance. He has already completed backflow training and Carver says "he is doing a great job."

Scott's wife is also employed by the district. He has chosen to raise his family in the school system and is very dedicated to the school. The couple's two sons have both graduated from Gravette High School.
