— Ellen Lucille Neill, 96, of Bentonville and former resident of Bowring, Okla., died in Bentonville Nov. 3, 2016.

She was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Rock, Kan., to Joseph Edward Alexander and Esther Mollie Marie (Lennen) Alexander. She began her elementary education in Rock and completed her education in Arvada, Colo. Her early employment was in a grocery store and later as a private caregiver for the elderly. In 1948, she married Mike Musial at Lake Wood, Colo., and they had sons, Michael Joe Musial and Kurt Musial. Her family lived in Colorado and California. In 1962, she married Henry Raynor in California and gave birth to triplets, two living, Regina and Rick. In 1970, after returning to the Kansas-Oklahoma area, Ellen began her employment with Bemis Construction Company and worked with various road construction jobs for the company. In 1976, she and Walter Neill were married and both continued working with Bemis until they retired in 1983. They moved to the Oak Ridge Addition of Hulah Lake (rural Pawhuska, Okla.). In 1985, She began private home care of the elderly, retiring in 2014. She later moved to Bentonville to be near family. She enjoyed flower gardening and reading. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by sons, Michael and Kurt Musial; a stillborn triplet; her parents; brothers, Glenn Alexander, Sam Alexander, Joe Alexander, Leroy Alexander, Leaverne Alexander and Dale Alexander; sisters, Stella Orton and Edna Schaffer.

Survivors include her son, Rick Bean and his wife Christy of Independence, Mo.; daughter, Regina Sullivan of Avant, Okla.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Schaffer, Billy Alexander, Xollie Buffer, Wendell Alexander and Betty Wilkinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Ellen’s memory be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573 (www.lls.org).

The date and time of graveside services and a Celebration of Life Ceremony are to be determined. Arrangements are by Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, Bartlesville, Okla.
