Lady Bulldogs off to slow start

WEST FORK -- The Decatur Lady Bulldogs had trouble on the floor getting the ball to drop through the hoop, resulting in the first loss of the 2016-17 basketball season.

The Lady Bulldogs traveled south Nov. 15 to take on the Lady Tigers in the Tiger Dome at West Fork High School. This was the season opener for the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Tigers took control of the game early, allowing the Lady Bulldogs a total of nine points for the entire game. West Fork domination handed the Lady Bulldogs their first loss of the season, 59 to 9.

In other senior girls' action, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Missouri to take on the Exeter Tigers Nov. 18 where they fared a little better but still lost, 63 to 22.
