GRAVETTE -- The Sonshine Quartet would like to invite everyone to attend their very first "Sonshine Quartet Gospel Christmas" concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Gravette High School Performing Arts Center in Gravette. Admission to the concert is free.

The Sonshine Quartet, originating from Gravette, recently celebrated its 40th anniversary together and held a Homecoming Concert a few months ago to celebrate. Now the quartet members are coming together to celebrate a Gospel Christmas with friends and family. The quartet is comprised of the Donell brothers, Don (Bubba) and Lee Donell, Steve Tucker, Bruce Wilbanks and pianist Jon Pickup. Special guest pianist for the concert will be Sharon Norberg.

During the concert, a love offering will be taken to support Eagle Family Ministries' Delta Mission Project. Proceeds will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for the children of Wilmot, Ark.

"We hope everyone will come and enjoy a night of Gospel and Christmas music," said Bruce Wilbanks. "The first half will be some of our most popular songs, along with a few new ones. The second half will be all Christmas. We are really excited to be doing our very first Christmas concert."

The concert is being sponsored by Bank of Gravett and Fire Station 29 Pub and Grill of Gravette, the Cowboy Church of Decatur and KBVA 106.5 Radio. All are invited to come and join the fun.
