Coronation set for Friday in Gentry

GENTRY -- Coronation ceremonies are planned at Gentry High School on Friday night and Eden Hosteter, the only senior maid this year, is expected to be crowned queen during ceremonies to be held prior to the varsity games against visiting Lincoln High School.

Coronation ceremonies are scheduled to begin at approximately 5:45 p.m. Friday. The senior boys will play Lincoln following the crowing of the queen. The senior girls will play the late game on Friday, after the senior boys.

The boys' junior varsity game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

In addition to dress-up days at the high school this week related to the theme: "We are Your Worst Nightmare" -- Nightmare before Christmas -- a pep rally will be held at 2:20 p.m. on Friday.
