GRAVETTE -- The annual Gravette fall cleanup is being held the week of October 3-7. Dumpsters have been set up and are available for use by residents of the city free of charge during the week. Dumpster locations are at 1009 Plant Access Road in Gravette and 13690 Firehouse Lane in Hiwasse.
Local citizens can also dispose of bulky items throughout the year through a service provided by Republic Services, the city's authorized trash pickup provider. Republic will pick up one bulky item per week on the customer's regularly-scheduled pick up day. Citizens should call 1-800-627-1717 to schedule the item pick up. Bulky items consist of such items as mattresses, couches, tables and chairs that are too large to fit in the poly-cart provided.
