Gravette girls come up short against West Fork

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette girls' volleyball team lost to West Fork when the Lady Lions visited there on Thursday, three sets to one.

Gravette lost the first set, 25-10, but then came back in a close set to pick up a win, 25-23, and tie the match. The Gravette girls then fell in the third, 25-13, and in a close fourth set, 25-22.

Misa Satchel had 13 kills in the match. Stephanie Pinter had nine. Hailee Gerner had 31 assists, and Kaylee Midyett had 23 digs and three aces.

The loss put Gravette at 6-4 in conference play and 6-7 overall. They were scheduled to play Berryville in a home match on Monday and host Decatur on Tuesday.
