— It's homecoming week in Gravette and homecoming ceremonies are set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct 21, in Lion Stadium, with three Gravette seniors vying for the title of homecoming queen for 2016: Zoe Betz, Alex Krewson and Halle Webb.

In addition to the crowning ceremonies and the game against the Huntsville Eagles at 7 p.m., other activities include a homecoming parade at 10 a.m. on Friday, with lineup at 9:45 a.m.; a homecoming luncheon at noon at the high school for the homecoming court, football team, cheerleaders, band and student council; homecoming practice on the football field at 1:15 p.m.; a pep rally at 2:10 p.m. on the football field and homecoming court photos in Old Town Park at 4:30 p.m.

The homecoming court is to line up at 6:15 p.m. by the field house, with the ceremonies beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The homecoming court this year includes: freshman maid Madelyn Obert, sophomore maid Amanda Duncan, junior maid Darlene McVay, senior maid Micah Wallace, queen candidate Alex Krewson, queen candidate Zoe Betz, queen candidate Halle Webb, senior maid Abbi Krewson, junior maid Lilly Howard, sophomore maid Hannah Cole, freshman maid Cally Kildow, Drew Hendren, Cody Sullins, Bret Callahan, Dylan Gruver, Brandon Ballard, Mason Martinez, Kilby Roberts, Hunter Deaton, Austin O'Brien, Dalton Bass, Colten Grimes, Aaron Campbell, Chris Childress, Kenton Tajchman. Max Stilbauger, Bella Hartman, Easton Crane, Paisley Crane, Jasper Schaffer and Molly Flynt are the homecoming mascots at this year's ceremonies.
