DECATUR -- The City of Decatur will host a reception honoring long-time Decatur resident Carl Florer for his 38 years of service to the Decatur Housing Authority.
The ceremony will take place in the new committee meeting room (former Decatur police station) Sept. 12 from 5:15 until 6 p.m. at Decatur City Hall, prior to the city council meeting. The public is invited to attend.
Cake and punch will be served during the reception.
