GRAVETTE -- The Gravette Lions were held scoreless until the fourth quarter Friday in Booneville when Kilby Roberts, Gravette quarterback, carried one across the goal line and Roberto Barrios kicked a point after. But that wasn't enough. The Booneville Bearcats scored a TD and point after in the first, another TD in the second and a TD and two-point conversion in the final quarter to seal the victory, 21-7.
The Lions were held to 105 rushing yards and 84 passing yards in the nonconference game.
The Lions travel across the state line to Jay, Okla., on Friday.
