GENTRY -- The new Harps Food store opens today, Sept. 21, in Gentry. The store is scheduled to open at 10 a.m., with a ribbon cutting at 9:25 a.m., followed by a reception at the store just before the doors officially open to customers.
A complete renovation of the building has been ongoing since the purchase of the store property last March. The store will pretty much be a new store.
"The Harps store will feature a wide variety of groceries, fresh-cut beef, pork and poultry and fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as deli and bakery selections," according to a Harps release
City residents will now be able to purchase all their groceries in Gentry, without driving to other nearby cities.
