Gravette picks up wins, Gentry losses

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette Lady Lions downed Gentry and Lincoln last week, winning both matches, 3-0.

The Lady Lions faced the Lady Wolves in Lincoln on Thursday and had a close first set, 25-22, but then easily took the match, 25-10 and 25-13.

Misa Satchel had a phenomenal night, picking up 20 kills in 31 attempts. Stephanie Pinter was nine for 19. Kaylee Midyett had 17 digs in the game. Satchel and Hailee Gerner each had 10. Gerner was also credited with 35 assists.

Against Gentry on Sept. 20, the Lady Lions shut down the Lady Pioneers, 25-17, 25-9 and 25-9.

Satchel had 12 kills in the game and Pinter, 10. Allie Callahan had five aces. Gerner had 35 assists.

The Gravette girls lost in a non-conference match in Huntsville on Sept. 19 in three sets, 25-20, 25-14 and 25-15. Satchel had 10 kills in the game. Gerner had 18 assists.

The Lady Pioneers lost to West Fork on Thursday in three straight sets, 25-13, 25-14 and 25-10. They also lost a non-conference match at home against Pea Ridge, 25-10, 25-4 and 25-15.
