No one shot at Sulphur

SULPHUR SPRINGS -- "It was not a shooting. No one was actually shot," said Chief Brackney of the city of Sulphur Springs Police Department, in response to reports of a recent shooting in the city.

According to Brackney, the incident involved a physical altercation between two brothers and one of them was beat over the head with a firearm. During the disturbance, a round was discharged into the wall accidentally.

No names are being released. An investigation is still ongoing.
