GRAVETTE -- The Gravette Public Library will hold a "Love My Library Basket Auction" on Saturday, August 12. Seventeen themed baskets filled by local businesses will be displayed at the library at 119 Main Street S.E. beginning at 9 a.m.
Basket themes include Glam Girl, Fashion Forward, Spa Day, Baking With Kids, Set The Hook, King of the Grill, Date Night, Family Game Night and Movie Madness.
Tickets for the event are being sold at Arvest Bank, Bank of Gravett and the Gravette Public Library. Ticket prices are one ticket for $1, five tickets for $3 and 15 tickets for $5. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the library and at the Gravette Public Library booth in Kindley Park on the day of the event.
To bid on the baskets, ticket holders should write their names and phone numbers of the back of their tickets and place one or more tickets in jars labeled to match the basket names. A winning ticket will be drawn from each jar with drawings to begin at 5 p.m. The winner need not be present to win.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gravette Public Library.
