Library celebrates reading program with picnic in the park

GENTRY -- After a summer packed with information and activities at the library, children involved in the Gentry Public Library's summer reading program celebrated the completion of the program with a picnic in the park on the afternoon of July 24.

In addition to food and drink, the afternoon included activities such as face painting, bubbles, sidewalk art and water activities to keep everyone cool.

Counting adults and helpers, almost 70 were in the park for the activities there.
