Harris to speak at First Baptist Church revival services

GENTRY -- Bro. Ron Harris will be the guest speaker at First Baptist Church in Gentry for a three-service revival scheduled for Sunday and Monday, Aug. 20-21, at the church. Services will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and at 6 p.m. on Monday.

Harris will speak on the topic of hope and says that hope is his core value, and his mission and passion is to teach, ignite and launch hope in himself and others.

Harris says that hope for a better future helped him overcome his doubts and fears growing up in poverty on the inner-city streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., and losing his parents and a brother and sister. He says he now understands his purpose and fully embraces the plan of God in his life and seeks to preach the powerful message of Jesus Christ.
