Mystery dinner to benefit Gravette Public Library

— Is it Patsy Cline? Perhaps it's Fred Astaire. Could it be Marilyn Monroe? Guests will be challenged to solve a "who-dun-it" at a gala event to be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Gravette High School Commons.

Guests arrive and find that the event host has been murdered. As the evening progresses, clues will be gathered, official reports read, and guests will strive to solve this interactive mystery titled "Celebrity Celebrations" by Merri Mysteries. Correct guesses will be entered into a prize drawing.

Guests may, at their option, attend as a celebrity character. The character choices include music legends and film stars from the 1950s and '60s. Although not required, costumes are encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for best male and female costumes. A social media photo booth will be available.

A 1960s' themed dinner will be catered by Steve Martinez. David Barber will conduct a live auction of experiences. Music will be provided by Patrick Bell.

Tickets to the event are $35 each and are available pre-sale only. Reservations may be made by calling the Gravette Public Library at 479-787-6955. Ticket sales will end Sept. 8. Proceeds will benefit the Gravette Public Library.
