GENTRY — Gene Paul Ostgren, 81, of Gentry, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Dix, Neb., to Marjorie Randol and Paul C. Ostgren. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a barber for about 20 years in Washington. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1999 from New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Angelia Ostgren; two daughters; two sisters; his father-in-law, Jesse Shultz of Kansas; his brother-in-law, Mike and Lisa Shultz of Kansas; his sister-in-law, Leisa and Brad Dunlap of Gentry; and four grandchildren.
