DECATUR Marvin Leroy Browers, 79, of Decatur, died Dec. 2, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
He was born June 11, 1938, in Decatur, to Marvin H. Browers and Viola Grace Browers. He worked in radio communications for Motorola. He enjoyed volunteering with the distribution of Meals on Wheels and was active with Faith in Action. He married Beverly Browers Bressler in 2012 at Springfield, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gwen Browers; wife, Gay Melanson Browers; and one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Browers of the home; daughters, Bambi Potter and husband Wesley of Colcord, Okla.; son, Kevin Browers and wife Shelia of Gentry; three daughters, Laura Gutierrez and husband Glynn, Linda Hudnall, and Michelle Trapen and husband Mark, all of Louisiana; son, Trey Munson and wife Tracy of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Darlene McClellan of Lincoln, Vickie Shields of Joplin, Mo., Jeannie Browers of Joplin, and Pam Duncan and husband Leroy of Lincoln; 24 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Falling Springs Cemetery, near Decatur. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
