'O Christmas Tree' theme of Gentry Christmas parade on Saturday

— The annual chamber-sponsored Gentry Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 9, on Gentry's Main Street.

Lineup (at Railroad Avenue and Main Street) begins at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and will proceed west down Gentry's Main Street.

This year's theme is "O Christmas Tree," and parade entries are encouraged to reflect that theme as much as possible. Parade entries need not preregister but should lineup at 5:30 p.m.

In addition, Santa Claus will be at the Gentry Chamber of Commerce office, 212 East Main Street, for visits and photos with children from 3 p.m. until time for the parade lineup. Santa will also make an appearance in the parade.
