GRAVETTE -- The Lady Lions easily defeated the Lady Tigers at West Fork on Tuesday, Dec. 20, by a score of 61-35.
The Gravette girls jumped ahead early, taking a 16-9 lead at the end of the first quarter, a 36-17 lead at the half and a 50-23 lead at the end of three.
The Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Lions, 12-11, in the final quarter but the game was already sown up and in the hands of the Gravette girls.
The win puts the Lady Lions at 8-3 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
The boys, too, won their game against West Fork, 52-32. No other stats were made available at press time.
The Lions are 5-1 in conference play and 8-2-1 overall.
