BENTONVILLE -- A Siloam Springs man pleaded not guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl.
Ulises Moreno, 30, entered the plea at his arraignment Dec. 18 before Circuit Judge Robin Green. He was arrested Nov. 7.
A father reported to Decatur police his daughter told him Moreno had been sexually abusing her since she was 11 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The girl was interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County. The girl said Moreno drives a church van and he once raped her in the vehicle.
Moreno was interviewed by police and denied ever having any sexual contact with the girl, according to the affidavit.
His next court appearance will be Jan. 22.
