DECATUR — William Wesley Arlin Keith, 46, of Decatur, was arrested in connection with rape, a Class Y felony, and aggravated assault, a Class D felony, by the Benton County Sheriff's Office on Friday.
The victim, a teen girl, told investigators Keith raped her Feb. 2, according to a probable cause affidavit. She also said Keith used a .44 Magnum handgun to threaten her, saying "one of us has to go, because I know you are going to tell," the affidavit says.
Keith was being held at the Benton County Jail on a partial bond of $100,000 last week. He has a hearing in Benton County Circuit Court on March 13.
