DECATUR -- The Decatur Historical Committee is looking for information, photographs and artifacts pertaining to any movie theaters in the Decatur area. This information will be shared during the next forum topic March 1 at 5 p.m. in the committee room at Decatur City Hall.
Hanging in the Decatur Depot is a 1913 Edison kinetoscope and pheostat that was rumored to be part of an outdoor movie theater somewhere in Decatur. The committee would like to confirm this information and add it to the historical database.
