GENTRY -- Police in Gentry arrested two Oklahoma women passing through Gentry just before midnight on Jan. 4 when an officer noticed an expired tag on their car.

The two were traveling west on Dawn Hill East Road when the officer noticed the expired tag and conducted a traffic stop, police reports say.

According to those reports, Carlene Webb, 44, was arrested in connection with driving on a suspended driver's license.

A passenger in the car, Susan B. Foreman, 37, was arrested when police inventoried the car and allegedly discovered a scale, a glass pipe with residue and five small plastic bags containing what police believed to be methamphetamine in Foreman's purse. Foreman was arrested in connection with felony charges for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance, intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Foreman was listed on the Benton County Jail log yet on Monday with bond set at $2,500.
