SILOAM SPRINGS -- John A. Billingsley, III, M.D., has been nominated and was accepted as a 2017 American Institute of Medical Professionals 10 Best Eye Surgeons in Arkansas for patient satisfaction in recognition of exceptional performance, according to a release by Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

The American Institute of Medical Professionals is a third-party rating organization that publishes an annual list of the Top 10 Best Eye Surgeons in each state. Surgeons who are selected to the "10 Best" list must pass American Institute of Medical Professionals' rigorous selection process, which is based on patient and peer nominations, thorough research and American Institute of Medical Professionals' independent evaluation.

American Institute of Medical Professionals' annual list was created to be used as a resource for patients during the surgeon selection process. One of the most significant aspects of the selection process involves a surgeon's relationships and reputation among his or her patients.

As patients should be a surgeon's top priority, American Institute of Medical Professionals places the utmost emphasis on selecting surgeons who have achieved significant success in the field of eye surgery without sacrificing the service and support they provide. Selection criteria therefore focus on surgeons who demonstrate the highest standards of patient satisfaction.

"We congratulate Dr. Billingsley on this achievement and we are honored to have him as a 2017 American Institute of Medical Professionals' Member," the release states.
