Gravette Day art, crafts show scheduled for Aug. 12

— Area artists and craftsmen are being solicited to participate in an art and crafts show on Gravette Day, Saturday, Aug. 12.

Michael Kelley, event coordinator, has said that any area artists, painters, crafters, weavers, carvers, potters, jewelry makers and photographers who are interested in participating in the 2017 show should contact him.

The show will be held at the Bank of Gravett community room between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The public is invited to drop by anytime during those hours to view the displays. Contact Kelley, 479-936-1424, for information on vendors fees. He has announced there will be a discount for nonprofit groups.

The 2017 Gravette Day art and crafts show is a family-friendly event, Kelley said. Sponsors include the city of Gravette, Bank of Gravett, Bombshell Beauty Salon, Hard Luck Cafe, Imagine Before and After School Care, Billy V. Hall Senior Activity and Wellness Center and Avalon Gardens and Landscape.

Kelley acknowledged these sponsors, saying, "Thanks for supporting local art and artists."
